The charts below show the results of a survey of adult education. The first chart shows the reasons why adults decide to study. The pie chart shows how people think the costs of adult education should be shared.
The first chart illustrates the results of why adult people want to continue their studies in which they are interested, while the pie chart demonstrates how the costs of their education must be shared by groups of people.
It can be seen that the two main aims why adults choose to study are that they are interested in subject and want to obtain the qualifications. These two reasons can be mentioned with 40% and 38%, respectively. However, the percentages of reasons of being helpful for current job, and to improve prospects for promotion and having fun while studying are close to each other, namely at 22%, 20% and 20%. Finally, remaining parts are to have possibility for changing job with 12% and to make friends with 9%, the lowest rate.
In the second chart, the percentage which should be paid by individuals for the adult education is 40% with the highest rate. In addition, taxpayer and employer are the lowest parts of the chart. Their percentages are at 35% and 25%, respectively.
