Overall, it can be seen that the consumption of fish and chips decreased consistently, whereas the number of eaten pizza and hamburgers rose sharply in a period of 25 years.
According to the graph, in 1975 fish and chips was the most popular fast food with the teenagers of Australia. It was eaten 100 times per year. The popularity of this fast food type declined until the year 1980; yet, it began to climb again for the next 5 years until 1985. After this year, the demand for this fast food started a dramatic falling trend to reach under 40 times eaten per year in the end of the given time scale, the year 2000.
On the contrary, the popularity of pizza and hamburgers rose substantially in this period. The biggest rise was seen in hamburgers from 1975 to 1985. Its number of eaten jumped up from almost 10 times to over 80 times per year in 10 year and then its growth slowed down until 1995 when it was consumed 100 times per year. Similirlay, pizza consumption was progressive until 1995. The demand for pizza levelled of towrads the end of the given period of time.
