Below is a map of the city of Brandfield. City planners have decided to build a new shopping mall for the area, and two sites, S1 and S2 have been proposed.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The map shows plans for two probable sites to build a Shopping Mall in the city of Brandfield. These areas have different feautures. Overall, it can be seen that two cities are placed in the north east and south east of the town.

Firstly, when analyzed, the S1 area takes place in north of the city centre. The area is above the railway and river. For good measure, the area is located under housing estate and the road. It is advantageous to be located close to the housing estate, because the chance of more shopping may be given to people. The other advantage is that the S1 area is between two regions which are railway and river.

Secondly, it is clear that the S2 zone which is in the south east has more disadvantages than the S1 location in the north east of town. This is because the S2 area is farther away from the city centre and river than the S1 place. Another drawback is that it is near an industrial area. When inspected, a golf course and a park are situated in aproximately equal distances from S1 and S2 area. On the other hand, this district can also provide some advanges. A road is located on the right side and a railway on the left side of this location, which faciliates shopping for the customers.
