Violence in the media promotes violence in society.

To what extent do you agree?

Nowadays, media as a must of the rich and poor gives them a plenty of beneficial or harmful services. With the increasing acts of terrorism, a majority of humans defend that while media organs submit them news around the clock, they do not arrange the dose of violence of events. From my point of view, the press world directs the individuals towards vehemence. I will delve into my remark with two crucial reasons.

To start with, the impact of the media on the community can not be negated because the media possesses a significant role to give shape to the demeanors of mankind. In recent years, if publishing news has not covered any news related to any kind of conflict in the society, unfortunately, the presented news does not attract the attention of the public as much as they wish. Thus, because the public come across with harshness time after time, they apply this violence unwillingly, even when joking with one another. Moreover, children are also exposed to watching blood and thunder movies almost everyday. To exemplify, before my nephew was fond of action movies, he was rather a calm kid. However, after watching these ypes of movies almost everyday, his teacher called us to complain about him because he always fought with his friends. After a while, we went to a psychiatrist and the doctor recommended that he should definitely keep away from watching the movies including violence.

Additionally, in old times, when a TV channel or radio program broadcasted knowledge or news which encouraged humans to commit violence, these media organs had to pay a price, such as law fine or being closed for a while. As for now, no sanctions are imposed due to violence publishing in any kind of media. Therefore, the citizens are so desensitized that when there is a homicide, they never even turn back to look. For instance, a month ago, I got a ten-day annual leave and consumed a short period of it by watching TV. I especially noticed that there were either murder victims or abusing events on the reality shows from morning to midnight. The presenters were commonly talking about this, so that I was really shocked by their terrific manners. Consequently, as long as everybody follows these broadcasts, no doubt, violence in the society will continue to increase more and more.

To sum up, the media perhaps is not number one reason of vehemence, but undeniably, it is only the main source that triggers the violence in the society. Thus, I believe that the media causes snowballing of wrong events in the population. Based on these facts, strict regulations seem highly necessary if it is aimed at releaving the society from any kind of violence.
