The crime rate among teenagers has increased dramatically in many countries. Discuss some possible reasons for this increase and suggest solutions.

Recently, it is clearly seen that many countries in the world have experienced a high crime rate among teenagers. In this essay, some possible reasons are discussed and some solutions are eloborated.

To begin with, unemployment is one of the most major causes of this increase. Most of the teenagers can not find an appropriate job when they graduate from college. Due to the fact that they do not have an occupation for living, they tend to commit crimes such as robbery or hijacking. As a second reason, most of the teenagers seek for ways to become rich in an easy and short way. They do not want to make excessive efforts such as preparing for an exam, going to a high-class college, being successful and having a glorious career. Consequently, they go towards committing felonies by which they can make massive amounts of money effortlessly.

To solve this problem, teenagers may be educated about how they can have a pleasant career to earn their livings. This solution can solve the fact that teenagers can not find a proper way to possess a successful career after they graduate from college. In addition, there can be rewarding incentives for employers to encourage them in order to make more teenagers employed. Finally, unemployed teenagers should be helped. However, this help should not be in the form of a financial support owing to the fact that a financial aid will be a short-range one. In long term, the permenant solution is that these teenagers should be educated and employed.

To conclude, in the recent years, there has been a significant rise in crime rates among teenagers due to the high rate of unemployment in the societies and as a result teenagers' desire to make money in easy ways. Assisting unemployed teenagers and teaching them how to find decent ways for living are amongst the possible solutions to this dilemma.
