The diagram shows how tea leaves are processed into five tea types. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The diagram illustrates the manufacture of five different types of tea. As it is seen in the diagram, all kinds of tea are produced from the same leaf but there are some differences in the process of production.
In details, the first stage is growing leaf, and the second stage is plucking the tea leaves. After being plucked, they are sent for withering to be dried and then to produce white tea. These are major sections. For the white tea, the final process is oven drying. However, the other types of tea require different procedures.
When it comes to other kinds of tea preparation processes, it is noticed that they all pass the same actions as does the white tea but there are two differences between them. The first one is that the tea leaves are exposed to steam and the second one is that they are rolled before the oven drying course.
Interestingly, it is observed that oolong tea needs a slight fermentation after rolling and before going to the drying stage. Distinctly, large leaf black tea needs full fermentation after rolling part. However, small leaf black tea is crushed to turn into small pieces and then it gets into the full fermantation before drying in the oven.
