The given pie charts present the financial situtaions of a children’s charity based in the USA in the year 2016. Overall, it can be clearly seen that the majority of the revenue sources came from donated food, while program services accounted for the most expenditures. The total income covered all spending.

Regarding the first chart, it is noticeable that the donated food supplied a very large sources with 86.6%. The next share with just more than one in ten consisted of the earnings comming from community contributions. In descending order, the other income sources were ‘program revenue’, ‘investment income’, ‘government grants’ and ‘other income’ with percentages 2.2%, 0.2%, 0.2% and 0.2% , respectively.

As for the second chart, it is seen that the lion’s share of the budget of children’s charity was consumed by ‘program services’ with 95.8%. The total proportion of fundraising and management and general was just under %5 of total expenditures, with the percentages 2.6% and 1.6%, respectively.

Finally, when we take the financial condition of children’s charity into consideration, we can readily say that the percentages of its revenue sources and expenditure areas exhibited a gross heterogeneity distribution. The total amount of revenue was 53,561,580$, which means around 400,00$ net income of the charity in the year 2016.
