Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The given line graph indicates the amount of fast-food consumed by Australian youth over a 25-year time frame. Overall, it is seen that in the timescale 1975-2000, pizza and hamburgers consumption gradually increased while there was a decrease in the number of eaten fish and chips.
In 1975, fast food, fish and chips was the most consumed and requested food among Australian teenagers with 100 eating times a year. This consumption was much higher than pizza and hamburgers consumption. When the graph is checked between years 1975-1980, it can be noticed that pizza and hamburgers consumption had the same rising pattern. On the other hand, after a slight rise between 1980-1985, fish and chips consumption fell steadily until 2000, ending just above 35 times per year.
In contrast to fish and chips, a sharp increase was seen in hamburgers with increased eating proportions in 1975, which left back fish and chips consumption in 1985. The number of eaten hamburgers reached its peak and had the biggest consumption at 100 times a year in the end of the given period. As for pizza consumption, we observe that it continued to increase sharply, surpassing fish and chips consumption in 1985. Then, it went on moving up at a steady rate from 1995 to 2000. It finaly finished the period by being consumed at 80 times a year.
