There are many different types of music in the world today. Why do we need music? Is the traditional music of a country more important than the International music that is heard everywhere nowadays?

In the present world, music ensures pleasure to millions of people, and it exists in diverse forms in every culture. Although, a number of people believe that traditional music of a country is more considerable than the International music which is popular everywhere, there are opposite ideas about this. In my opinion, a specific music type is not more important than other types. All music kinds give enjoyment to people.

It is definitely a fact that music is a requirement. First and foremost, music is a prominent source for happiness and enjoyment in everyday life. People listen to music to get away from stress, to enjoy on the long peregrination, or to dance with their friends in the night clubs. Additionally, music is an indicator for each culture. It is frequently used as a major part of cultural ceremonies. For instance, there are a majority of music sorts for each country which are used in wedding celebration, burial ceremony and festivals. In addition, it is also used as a therapy method for children. Most of the therapists apply music therapy to children who have hyperactivity disorder, autism, and learning disability.

In taking into account which type of music is significant, it is quite possible that traditional music is definitely useful to community, too. It should be a source for the history of a nation to remind people of their cultural identity. On the other hand, international music is also important for the society. Listening to similar songs of other countries brings people together. It helps to recognize and understand people who live in different countries. It is also now common that foreign people who have the same music taste can match in music applications. It could be great for people to make a connection with other nationalities.

To sum up, I am convinced that the traditional music is not more prominent than the International music, or vice versa. Traditional music is crucial as it is function of countries' civilized identities, whereas International music is also critical for the interaction of divergent societies. Consequently, both of them supply pleasure to people.
