The bar chart illustrates the number of British citizens who emmigrated to five countries over the period from 2004 to 2007. Looking from an overall perspective, we can clearly see that throughout the period, Australia was the most preferred destination by British people.

Firstly, the data in the table reveals the fact that emigration to Australia covered approximately 40.000 people in 2004, which was higher than that to Spain with almost 5.000 people more. The number of immigrants in other three countries slightly changed in the 2004 year. Except an increase to over 50.000 in 2006, no further remarkable rise or decline was observed in all chart.

The other most popular destination for British people was Spain, in which an unchanging number with approximately 35.000 immigrants is seen until the year 2007. In addition, over 20.000 people emigrated to New Zealand every year whilst the number in the USA fluctuated between 20.000 and 25.000 people over the period.

Finally, during the given period, apart from a considerable rise in the year 2005, France was the least popular destination with nearly 25.000 people in signified years.
