The charts below show the results of a survey of adult education. The first chart
shows the reasons why adults decide to study. The pie chart shows how people
think the costs of adult education should be shared.


The given bar and pie charts provide a summary of information about a survey results
of adults education. Overall, while the bar chart demonstrates information about the
reasons why adults choose to study, the pie chart shows the expectation of adults
about education cost shares.


First of all, it can be clearly seen that the most important two motives for study are
interest in subject and gaining qualifications. Also, the percentage of them are close
to each other with %40 and %38, respectively. Although being helpful for current job
is in the third place with the percentage of 22, it does not have as high level as interest
in subject and gaining qualifications. To improve the prospects of promotion and to
enjoy learning/studying are in the third-place by the same percentage, %20.
Furthermore, to able to change jobs and to meet people have similar rates with %12
and %9, which are the lowest rates to make a decision.


Lastly, when we examine the pie chart, we notice that while 40% of the participants
think that education fees should be paid by individuals, 35% of people belive that the
course costs should be paid by employers and other 25% of people are of the opinion
that the expenses of courses should be paid by taxpayers.


All in all, when we look at the bar chart, we can surely say that interest in subject and
gaining qualifications are more encouraging factor for people to study. In addition,
the second chart gives us some information about people who believe that the most
essential parts for costs should be paid by individuals and employers.
