In the last 20 years there have been significant developments in the field of information technology (IT), for example the World Wide Web and communication by email. However, these developments in IT are likely to have more negative effects than positive in the future.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In the last two decades, there has been incredible innovation in the field of information technology, with many proceedings in this section. While the technological developments cause some repercussions to the world, I strongly believe that these developments will outcome in more positive impacts than negative ones.

On the positive side, Information Technology (IT) has a lot of benefits to people, such as facilities that the World Wide Web and e-mail provide. The IT helps us reach all kinds of information in a matter of seconds. For example, if you want to surf on any web page, or book a flight ticket or donate for a charity, the IT is there to quickly carry out for you. Furthermore, the World Wide Web gives an opportunity to the person to get to know different cultures and different traditions. In addition, email technology and other programs provide accessibility to many kinds of communication. For another instance, when you send the wrong message to the company or store market to apply for a job, information technology assists in redesigning your significant messages.

In the negative side, the impression of this technological devices have produced some negative impacts on people. For example, any person could enter the non-secure web pages or the person's computer or phone could have a virus attack. In spite of this fact, people keep going to use the internet. In addition, email and other communication programs cause people to show different behaviours. However, people do not distinguish their treatment, and this situation affects face-to-face communication.

In conclusion, there are many valuable properties of the information technology such as immediate access, ever-evolving, sheltered and you can find whatever you want wherever you are. Beside all these situations, I strongly support the idea that information technology has a great deal of positive influence on society.
