The diagram below shows how the Australian Bureau of Meteorology collects up-to-the-minute information on the weather in order to produce reliable forecasts. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below. You should write at least 150 words.

The diagram illustrates the way in which Australian Bureau of Meteorology gathers latest information about the weather for publishing the accurate forecasts. Overall, it is noticed that the process consists of four main stages, which begins with incoming information about the weather and ends up with broadcasting this to the public.

First of all, it is clearly seen that incoming information is gathered with the help of the satellite. Then, this information is analyzed through satellite photos and then it is forecasted or sent to the radar. After this, the information is either seen by a radar screen or a synoptic chart. Also, drifting buoy can be used to collect the data and to analyze in order to create a synoptic chart. When the analysis and forecasting stage is done, in the next stage the collected data is used to prepare the broadcast by the computer systems.

Finally, when the broadcast is created, it is published to the Australian people through some platforms such as TV newsreader, radio or recorded telephone announcement.
