“When people succeed, it is because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with success.”
Do you agree or disagree with the quotation above?
Use specific reasons and examples to explain your position.
From past to present, on one hand, a vast number of individuals have believed that hard-working is the most basic source to reach an awesome accomplishment. On the other hand, others have defended that with a little effect of shortcuts, success depends on luck or ability. My personal view is that if any person buckles down, they can achieve their goals. I will delve into two conspicuous reasons to elaborate my standpoint.
Initially, the achievements are attained by working hard with the perseverance. Moreover, the maintainability of self-consistent, which is enormously important, makes people gain ground on their ways of the success. Only hard working is not enough because within a specific plan, humanbody has to work stoutly without getting tired. For instance, I met a person who wanted to learn how to play the piano last year. After some years, when I saw her playing the piano, I emulated her. I learned later that she had been trying hard for years without even having any social life but she never lodged a complaint about this situation. As a result, owing to her determination, she achieved her purpose which was giving a concert. Hereat, I gave up learning the piano because I was not as determined as she was. Last week I heard that she finally has made her wish real and has become a professional musician.
Moreover, to be successful, a periodic working should be followed in a methodical way. In fact, with right strategies, folks should use working time efficiently and give priority to vital issues. This fact necessitated discipline in their life styles. To exemplify, when I went to Germany for holiday, I visited lots of companies as an observer. I witnessed that they put signature to many prosperities because employees work actively for six hours, in an eigh-hour working day. Conversely, in our country, we are more interested in our works for only two or three hours everday, and then, we expect for achievements to come to us. Unfortunately, we kill time unnecessarily in our workplaces, either by chatting or by drinking café or tea with our coworkers.
To sum up, the accomplishment is not a coincidence but rather an exceeding labor. Throughout the history of humanity, nothing actualizes with good luck. Thus, I strongly believe it is the factor of hard-working that leads to the achievement not an element of sheer luck.
