Dear Mrs. Torrance,

I am writing to you to explain my condition and ask for permission if you approve me to pay my rent late this month.

As you know, we have paid our rent due date since last year, but this month unfurtunately we are experiencing some financial problems because of my husband, Jack's health issues. Last month, he rolled down the stairs and broke his leg in three different parts, thus he had to have some serious operations. All this surgery and hospital payments weren't met by Jack's health insurance. If he hadn't broken his leg, he would have started a new job next week. Therefore, the health insurance which he has wasn't renewed.

Despite all these unfortune happenings, I have some good news to say that I'm getting promotion this month. As you also know, I'm working in a magazine. I will be the editor next month. Therefore, my salary will be promoted by more than thirty percent. As I mentioned, I can assure you that the payment will go to your account automatically each month. I have just ordered the required payment to the order section of my bank.
