You recently went to see a good play at a theatre, but you did not enjoy it because of some problems in the theatre.
Write a letter to the manager of the theatre. In your letter:
say which play you saw and when
describe the problems you experienced in the theatre
suggest what the manager should do
Dear Sir /Madam
As an avid fan of theatre, I regularly watch the newest plays at your theatre. Unfortunately, my last visit was not very enjoyable and that is why I decided to write this letter.
I recently went to matinee show of The Othello which I had been looking forward to watching for months, specifially last Tuesday, August 20. The weather was really hot and your air condition system was not working well. There was no fresh air, too. In addition, the air conditioning machines made a lot of noise, which made the theatre hall boiling hot, stuff and noisy.
And also, a man who was responsible for closing the theatre curtains pretented to be so impatient. Clearly, he could not wait until the end of the stage, and closed the curtains in a rush after every stage. His behaviour seemed meaningless and rude. I could not catch up the last words and acts of the players.
I strongly recommend you to have the air conditioning system of the theatre reviewed and fixed and make sure it works without any bothering noise as soon as possible. You should also make a conversation with the man who is responsible for the curtains and warn him regarding his task .
I hope these problems will be adressed quickly so that theatre enthusiasts can continue to enjoy the shows at your venue.
Your faithfully,
Evşen Taşkum
