In today's world, the vast majority of people decide to get a college education. While some people argue that following the university education just provides developed job opportunities, others advocate that it has bigger advantages. They believe that higher institutions not only provide job opportunities, but also assist individuals and society to improve.

Undoubtedly, university education is a factor to impact job opportunities significantly. Furthermore, it is acceptable that the main goal of university education is to secure job prospects. Most people believe that attending university brings about getting a job for them. Also, university education increases people's demand and makes them more attractive in recent conditions. In addition, they visibly believe that working in a better job will provide them with prestige and higher status in the society. That is why job prospects are vital.

However, university education has a wide range of other positive attributes that can touch both individuals and society. First of all, universities are the most important places in the world in order to see different types of people from every walk of life. A case in point is that many students will have to meet a lot of people who come from other countries and different cultures. This situation helps students know different sorts of people. Thus, it gives a great chance to improve their communicating skills and ensures knowing many personalities. Secondly, attending university is not useful just for graduates. The society may be more profitable than graduates because the society will get benefit from the person who is highly educated.

All in all, I believe that although the main purpose of university education is ensuring a better job, its contribution to the individuals and society is much beyond this fact. It has great advantages, which are not only to help the graduates get decent jobs but also to improve both individuals and society.
