The table gives information about the percentage of students who attended four dissimilar kinds of junior high schools; namely, specialist schools, grammar schools, voluntary-controlled schools, and community schools in three different years, 2000, 2005, and 2009. The units are presented in percentages. Overall, it can be seen that while the proportions of pupils attending community schools experienced a serious growth, those of other three schools shrank dramatically over the given period of time.

Firstly, it is noticed that between the years 2000 and 2005, the rate of attending community schools went up considerably, by around 20%, from 12% to 32%. Interestingly, in the year 2009, the proportion of attenders of this school type exposed a sharp increase to touch its peak point at 58%.

On the other hand, the percentages of attending in other school types showed a relatively different trend. While the fraction in specialist schools demonstrated a slight decrease from 12% to 10%, in grammar schools the final value (12%) was half its initial one, and in voluntary-controlled schools the last percentage (20%) was even less than half of the value it had in the beginning of the period.
