Raising the price of petrol is claimed to be the most logical intervention for solving the traffic congestion and crowd problem. While I totally support this opinion, I strongly advocate that additional precautions ought to be taken at the same time. Initially, people could be discouraged when they have to use their cars with high prices of petrol and therefore they may seek some novel remedies for transportation. To cite an example, the cost of petrol has been increasing day by day and my father, who has to drive to his office, started to ride a bicycle to get to his workplace due to costly petrol. If prices stay stable or cheap, people never consider alternative ways for commuting in their daily lives. For instance, one of my friends who lives abroad, always cites that the price of petrol is fairly low for her and utilizing private cars is the most comfortable way in her country.
