The line graph illustrates the consumption of different types of fast-food items by Australian adolescents in 25 years period, which started in 1975 and ended in 2000. Overall, it is seen that hamburgers and pizza feeding increased over the years whereas the partaken of fish and chips decreased.

Firstly, it is quite obvious that in 1975, Australian teenagers’ favourite fast food product was fish and chips that was eaten 100 times in a year. However, apart from a small climb in the years between 1980 and 1985, the consumption of this fast food type decreased gradually in 25 years period, in a way that its consumption was just below 40 times in the year 2000.

On the other hand, the numbers of pizza and hamburgers consumption times by Australian adolescents was less than 10 in 1975. Nevertheless, feeding on hamburgers and pizza had a huge substantial expansion over the years. Hamburgers consumption in the years between 1975 and 1980 almost linearly increased and it reached the level over 80 times in a year. Additionally, in the years between 1980 and 2000 it rose gradually and that was the most eaten fast-food product in this year. Clearly, the consumption of pizza presents a quite similar pattern to that of hamburgers until 1995, but after this year, it remained stable above 80 until the end of the period, 2000.
