The given pie charts provide information about the proportion of people at the age of 18 and 25 who utilized different devices to watch television in the years 2009 and 2019 in Canada. Across the board, it is seen that after a decade, the general trend represented that Canadian's population moved away from watching TV. They generaly preferred to use laptop and desktop computer in 2009, while watching flat-screen TV, using mobile phone and tablet were more popular in the year 2019.
As it can be clearly seen from the pie chart, watching television programmes was the most popular choice in 2009. It was preferred by 34% of people. At the same period, it was followed by laptop users at 20%. On the other hand, the number of desktop users slowly went down in a decade from 18% to 12%, respectively.
In stark contrast, the percentagewise of using mobile phones and having flat-screen TV took same trend with 27% and 26%, respectively. They significantly increased in the year 2019. However, the usage of both devices made up the largest part among the other divices. Moreover, the proportion of tablet users had the lowest followers. Its rate climbed rapidly from twenty percent to nearly a fifth in 2019.
