In the last 20 years there have been significant developments in the field of information technology (IT), for example the World Wide Web and communication by email. However, these developments in IT are likely to have more negative effects than positive in the future.

In the recent decades, there has been a substantial growth in the field of information technology (IT) globally, which inevitably has affected many people's lives in many andvantageous directions. While some technological developments have brought negative impacts, I believe that the developments in IT have had more positive effects on people's lives on daily basis.

In the negative side, it is likely to see that people using e-mail and other communication applications have become unsociable and disregarded in daily traditions such as greetings and face-to-face communication, which has had so many impacts on their body language. This sort of communication made people unreactive, and they have become farther from each other. Furthermore, developing information technology brought about the insecurity of personal information, which may cause individuals' abuse of privacy because this is not protected utterly and may be shared with others who may have bad intention to use it vitiously.

On the other hand, the effects of new technology are not all disadvantageous. For example, many people using the internet can reach anywhere in the world in a second, resulting in those connected to their beloved ones. In addition, It is beneficial to use e- mail for companies to make a good co-operate with other firms in a short time. Moreover, sending e-mail and other forms of technological communication gives velocity to those intered in tstehe stock market, resulting in the world becoming more global. In addition, using the world wide web by young people has been useful for their personal development because they might learn other cultures and traditions by the help of the internet without visiting abroad. Further, surfing the internet for tourists and travellers has been valuable. For example, they may book a hotel easily. Also, technological developments for communication using the internet has been evolving day by days; for example, Whatsapp and Instagram are not only for communication but also for social media.

To sum up, although some people believe that using the internet and e-mail corrupts basic traditions and can have negative impacts on the conventional communication, I would argue that in the future, the internet and new modern developing tools will bring lots of profits increasingly.
