This line graph demonstrates information about fast food consumption, and their amount and type by Australian teenagers from 1975 to 2000 a period of 25 years. Overall, it is seen that the consumption of pizza and hamburgers rose up. However, that of fish and chips fell down over the period of time.
To begin with, the line chart indicates that fish and chips was the highest consumed fast food by being eaten 100 times in a year in 1975. This means that the most popular fast food was fish and chips for Australian teenagers. However, after 5 years, it decreased to approximately 80 times in a year. Then, there was a short increase again from 1980 to 1985 when it decreased correspondingly every year. In the end of the period, the number of eaten fish and chips reached just under 40 times in a year.
There was a prominent upward trend in eating pizza and hamburgers by Australian teenagers. The consumption of hamburgers increased severely from 1975 to 1985. Its consumption increased slowly from 1985 to 1995, then stood at 100 times in a year and kept this level for 5 year. The scalating rate for pizza was not as steeply as it was for the rate of consumption of humburgurs. In 1995, the number of eaten pizza stood to almost 80 times in a year and kept this level untill the year 2000.
