The line graph given above illustrates the eating habits of teenagers in Australia from 1975 to 2000. Overall, it is quite apparent that the number of eaten pizza and hamburgers increased from year to year. On the contrary, the consumption of fish and chips declined in 25 years.

In 1975, pizza and hamburgers were not as popular as fish and chips. The consumption of hamburgers rose sharply from 10 times to around 85 times per year between 1975 and 1985. Also, the number of eaten pizza per year slightly increased from 1975 to 1995. The consumption of hamburger kept increasing from 1985 to 1995. After these augmentations, eaten hamburger levelled off at 100 times per year at 1995. Similarly, the number of eaten pizza stood at 85 times per year from 1995 to 2000.

In dramatic contrast to consumption of hamburgers and pizza, Australian teenagers mostly preferred fish and chips in the beginning of the given period. Fish and chips was the most popular fast food, 100 times eaten per year, in 1975. The only rise seen in fish and chips consumption was from 1980 to 1985. After a small flactuation in its consumption, fish and chips dramatically followed a decreasing trend until the end of period.
