Question: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

Technolohy has made the children less creative than they were in the past.

Creativity is like a ''talent'' which can either be obtained later or endowed to a child from his birth. It should highly be accepted that technology has dramatic effects on our lives, but in terms of the effect on creativity, it can not be blamed and because of that, I repudiate the statement. The causes include the orientation of technology and the opportunities it brought in its wake.

To begin with, technology can not be accused for damaging the children's creativity skills. If parents or proponents of this idea prop up this fact, then they first should look at what way the parents oriented the children. For instance, particular people who made children get used to watching TV series, or movies that thorougly contain fighting scenes should not expect creativity from the children. Therefore, as long as technology is used in a correct way which includes directing children to watching some educational contents the development of the creativeness becomes quiet possible.

Furthermore, the opportunities that the technology may propose have equal importance as the orientation does. It can be used as a tool in which children can share their interests or creativeness with others. Addtionally, they can enhance their visions by hearing new ideas. A great eample of this strategy is the child YouTubers. Not just in Turkey but in all around the globe, these children are in the limelight. They share the childish experiments they do and with the interesting toys they play. Hence, they sustained these activities from platforms that are bare to interplay. They enhance their contents according to what their children spectators demands, and generally these demands bring creative contents. Thus, technology becomes a source that allows children to interact with others and flourish their quality of life.

In conclusion, creativirty is an important and somehow vital aspect of human beings, and it trully is open to be thrived during the childhood. In the light of the materials, technologyt is not a hindle in front of the creativity, but a contributor in terms of increasing it.
