When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

In recent years, technology has reached an advanced level. This situation worries some people about forgetting their traditional skills and their previous lives. I certainly do not agree with this argument and I will explain my opinion by giving reasons in following essay.

Initially, cutting ties with traditions is people's individual preference because technology does not hinder people to live up to their conventional rules. If the society wants, they can accord a modernizing world along with protecting their cultural heritages.Using the right dose of technological development provides a lot of advantage for people related to showing their traditional artisanship. For instance, a man who works for a long time as a gramophone repairman uses the Instagram and sets out his stall for his potential customers. Thanks to this innovation, the old gramophone repairman can make a lot of money and spreads across the reputation of his classic craftmanship.

From a different view point, one of the biggest contributions of technological improvements is reaching limitless resource relevant to almost every topic. Tradition-bound people can use the opportunity and may prefer to reach large masses with their manners and customs instead of harboring ill towards technological progress. For example, in the previous days, an interesting documentary was published which narrated people who kept their traditions and devoted themselves to their crafts. Some of the people who watched this broadcast obtained information about folksy the heritage and lifestyle of people mentioned in the documentary. As is seen from the example, technological developments do not extinguish people's traditional skills and their lifestyle habits. Contrary to popular belief, innovation gives a fair crack to maintaining the public's hereditary way of lives.

In conclusion, technology does not bear enmity against people's traditional skills and their modus vivendies. I think, technological progress does not efface the traditional features and custom-blend lifeways. If the society uses technology for its benefits, they can pass down their traditions and preserve their ancestral heritages.
