In spite of the advances made in agriculture, many people around the world still go hungry. Why is this the case? What can be done about this problem?

In the contemporary world, even though there have been lots of improvements in the field of agriculture, it is a well-known fact that in many parts of the world people suffer from starvation. In this essay, the causes of these problems will be addressed and two main solutions regarding this issue will be expressed.

Initially, people who suffer from famine, mostly live in the undeveloped parts of the world. In these countries, despite the fact that people try to maintain their lives with some occupations which are generally physically demanding jobs, they can not afford their life expenses. For example, although lots of people who live in African countries work as farmers, they can not reach enough food in order to be able to lead a decent life because of poverty. Even if technology has been improved day by day, these advancements can not be observed in all parts of the world, especially in the field of farming. This situation stems from hefty taxes for citizens. Furthermore, overspending on basic necessities of life leads people with a measly budget to uneven separation of social opportunities.

As for solutions, it could be claimed that the lion share belongs to governments and aid companies. Firstly, decision-makers should come up with reformative steps which may ensure the welfare of people. For instance, basic requirements should be presented to every individual without any strings attached. In addition to this, farmers, for example, should have low interest loans. Thus, they can reach every resource regarding their job and maintain their lives without being exposed to any threat of famine. Therebeside, various companies linked to agriculture, which belong to developed countries, should carry out lots of aid projects for poor countries. If these aid companies can raise the awareness among high welfare level country citizens, the susceptibility of the public will naturally increase about the people who live on the verge of hunger.

In a nutshell, although tremendous advancements are available in the world, a nonignorable majority of people endure compelling situations such as famine. This challenging situation occurs because of manifold reasons, such as inequality in terms of occasions. If essential measures would be taken, required consciousness could be created.
