Some people say that the only reason for learning a foreign language is to travel or work in a foreign country. Others say that these are not the only reasons why someone should learn a foreign language.
Discuss both these views and give your opinion.
Reasons fostering people to learn a new language are quite controversial. One group of indicators claim that it is a necessity for people who think about moving to a foreign country. Yet, others defend that individuals could have a diversity of purposes for learning a new language. I support both of these ideas to a certain extent.
On the one hand, when the idea of moving to a foreign country is examined, necessity of having a full command of a language appears natural. Working or travelling inholds lots of communication skills. In the simplest term, if we arrive in a foreign soil, we presumably can not have any idea about finding a part of the country easily. Even in this situation, each of us has a compulsion about expressing ourselves in a reasonable extend. Moreover, if people want to secure their occupations or get promotion in their careers, they should accept that this path could not be climbed over without language sufficiency. Since, either taking a vacation or planning a future career in the overseas can not be abstracted from daily life.
On the other hand, peoples' reasons could be varied in terms of mastering on a new dialect. Firstly, in the developed world, international reactions gradually trend towards getting closer. For instance, even when people search for basic subjects which are related to daily agendum on the internet, they suddenly notice that it is an obligation to comphrend foreign sources. To take another example, unless an inner understanding is developed about a written work, which is penned down in native language, this work of art can not be gripped in a proper way. Even if interpreters present a version of written works through their comments, it can never reflect the nuance of the original content. Even for this reason only, people can be enthusiastic to learn a new language.
In conclusion, becoming skillful in the field of language can not be limited. Reasons can differe in every possibility. While some humans would perceive this gain as a tool, for others, learning a foreign language could contain utterly different aims.
