The charts below show the percentage of water used for different purposes in six areas of the world.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given six pie charts illustrate the percentage distribution of water usage in six regions of the World. Overall, it can be fairly seen that farming aims have the highest percentages among the given regions except for North America and Europe.

Firstly, developed continents, which are North America and Europe, consume water in terms of industrial purposes at %48 and %53, respectively. It can be interpreted that undeveloped areas of the world have a tendency to spend water in the field of farming. Surprisingly, two different parts of America have contrast data. While in the South part of America the most common usage of water is for cultivation, the North part of the continent shows a converse trend from the view of spent water.

When we take a close look at the part of household utilization on the given charts, we can readily notice that, excluding Europe, South and North America, the percentages trend towards quite low levels. In addition to this, when the figures are examined, industrial utilization and agricultural usage have a connection in an inverse proportion. For instance, when the data of Africa, Central and South Asia are compared with the data of North America and Europe, the link can be seen evidently.
