'' Prevention is better than cure.''

Out of a country's health budget, a large proportion should be diverted from treatment to spending on education and preventative mesures.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement.

For a lot of countries, the health budget is one of the main subjects that has the biggest portions in a government's overall budget. People having the idea of preventing the sicknesses and making provisions before getting sick is a better method than trying to find a cure. On account of this idea, they stand up for the opinion of spending a considerable amount of the money for educating people about precautions instead of spending it on the treatments which I personally agree.

In today's world, new epidemics and brand new kinds of diseases gave rise to the amount of money spending on treatments. Most of the time, when a new disease is diagnosed, trying to find the cures of it costs a fortune to governments. It can cause some economical crises for the countries that spend money for these cures. Some people do not even mind about taking care of themselves and have no cautious about catching a disease. It might stems from the accessibility of the facilities that they have for healing and treatment. Moreover, some of them do not know anything about basic measures. In this case, spending some money to educate people about prevention seems pretty reasonable to a lot of people.

Training people about precautions can be done in plenty of ways. A case in point, public authorities can organize various kinds of seminares to the society. Thanks to highly developed technology, posters and billboards can be made in minutes easily. On televisions, health ministery can broadcast simple and formative advertisements about precautions against to illnesses. Dividing the treatment budget to inform people and prevent further problems would cost less than a scentific experiment for cures.

To sum up, while there are a lot of people out there who are not aware enough about the preventions, fighting against epidemics and these kinds of events would be running around in circles. Informing people is much more of a long term remedy.
