The reading passage is about galaxies. The listening passage is related to one special galaxy, The Milky Way.

According to the reading passage, a galaxy is a star system. In other words, a galaxy consis unbeliaveble number of stars. It is known tha a galaxy can contain billions of stars, and there are millions of galaxies in the universe.

The listening passage gives some information about one special galaxy which is called The Milky Way. The Milky Way is a galaxy where we live and it contains our Sun. In this galaxy there are approximately 120 billion stars, and all stars are visible in our sky.

The reading passage contains a traditional story about the ostrich. The listening part declares that this story to be untrue by telling us how the ostrich reacts to danger.

The reading passage explains that the ostrich is a large bird which cannot fly. According to a traditional story about the ostrich, the ostrich reacts to dangereous situations by burying its head in the sand. Because of this silly reaction, the ostrich cannot protect the rest of its body.

The listening part refutes the story about the reaction of the ostrich in the dangerous condition by explaining how the ostrich actually reacts to danger. The speaker says that the ostrich does not bury its head in the sand, because it has very strong defensive capabilities. According to the given information in the listening section, the ostrich can defend itself thanks to its ability of hearing and seeing very well. Moreover, it is very good at running and kicking. Because of these abilities, the ostrich can defend itself properly and it does not need to burry its head in the sand.

The reading passage is about an interesting island which is called Easter Island. The listening section also gives information about the Easter Island by telling a theory about it.

According to the reading passage, there is an island near the coast of South America which is called Easter Island. It is an interesting island because there are hundreds of stone figures looke like warrior on the island although there are not any people live on it. As a result, it is unclear who built the statues. Some of stone figures are finished and some of them not. It appears that people who built the stone figures stopped work and suddenly left.

In the listening section, the speaker gives information about the Easter island such as who lived on it and why and how they disappeared. The scientists believe that there were ancient culture people who used to live on the island but they suddenly stopped working on stone figures and disappeared. In order to explain this disappearence, they put forth one possible theory. According to this theory, outsiders arrived by boat and brought some diseases. Because the ancient culture people never experienced these ilnesses, these diseases caused them to die.
