The line graph illustrates the numbers of tourists visiting a Caribbean island and staying on either cruise ships or island from 2010 to 2017. Overall, it can be seen that the total numbers of the visitors bumped up from 1 millions to 3.5 millions in this period.

To begin with, it is obvious that the numbers of guests staying on island were stable between 2010 and 2011. Afterwards, the numbers of them were pushed up until 2013, and then a recession phase was seen and the numbers of visitors opting for staying on island were1.5 billions until 2015. After this year, a fluctuation happened from 2015 to 2017.

Considering the numbers of tourists staying on cruise ships, we can easily get the picture that even though the number of the visitors was 0.25 million in 2010 and fluctuated between 2010 and 2012, that of guests preferring to stay on cruise ships cumulatively boosted up until 2017. Moreover, although the numbers of visitors staying on cruise ships used to be below those of tourists staying on island for a long time, the numbers of guests staying on cruise ships outstandingly outnumbered those of their counterparts choosing to stay on island after 2016.
