Some people say that advertising is extremely successful at persuading us to buy things. Other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Advertisement has sprouted up in modern life since manufacturers could effectively introduce their goods to the potential consumers. Therefore, some individuals are of the opinion that the approaches in advertising convince customers for shopping, whereas others reckon that the methods cannot influence some shoppers. In this essay, one cause for each view is represented and I shared my own beliefs.

In one hand, the reason why advertisement ways are seriously effective on people is based upon the fact that advertising is currently used in every platform. It is a well-known reality that not only billboards and walls, but also the pages on internet can densely contain a swarm of announcements of many products. Therefore, individuals cannot find a getaway to not see them because the more knowledge individuals are exposed to, the more details they unconsciously stack up in their memory. Moreover, as much as consumers see these announcements, people feel that it is a need, even though they do not require the product. For instance, the mouthwatering views of fast-food meals on videos outstandingly create demands on individuals. Hence, consumers become eager to consume them.

On the other hand, the reason why advertisement does not have any influence on some customers is that they are likely to be aware of both merits and demerits of every stuff. It is obvious that advertising sector can cater for a number of goods to individuals; however, some people are not able to be persuaded by this branch since they reach to their satiation, due to seeing many advertisement over and over again. Furthermore, this kind of shoppers exactly know the time when they need to purchase goods. For example, conscious consumers use their smart phones until their devices break down, not the new version of the gadget is released. Thus, such shoppers do not opt for wasting their money.

To sum up, it is ferreted out that advertisement companies are quite successful to ensure individuals to buy the goods introduced because their announcements can be seen and heard in every place. Nonetheless, advertising is not always glorious, thanks to the fact that some people do not do shopping mindlessly. Personally, I completely side with the second thought since the the number of landfills enormously bumped up all around the world in this decade, because of the consumers requesting to shop unnecessary elements.
