The bar graphs provide a summary of British people's music album preferences according to their gender and age group. Overall, it is seen that among the given music types; rock music, pop music, and classical music, the last was the least popular one while pop music was the most popular music type.

Pop music album sales and rock music album sales showed a similar distribution in terms of genders and ages. In both categories, males purchased more albums than women did, and young people between the ages of 16-34 were mostly the ones who purchased an album. The number of people between 25-34 years old was the largest group of pop album buyers, whilst the people between 16-24 years old were the largest group of rock album buyers.

Conversely to the other two genres, classical music album buyers demonstrated a totally different distribution. The numbers of men and women listeners were close to each other. While the buyers of pop music and rock music album were younger, those of classical music album were a mixture of people at 25-34 and over 45 age groups.
