The diagram illustrates the way in which liquid chocolate is produced. The process contains ten steps, starting with the production of cacao pods and culminates with the usage of a press machine to get the final version of liquid chocolate.

The first step starts with cacao trees, which are grown in different parts of the Southern hemisphere, such as South America, Africa, and Indonesia. Once cocoa pods are ripe and red, they are harvested to get their white cocoa beans. After the beans are picked, they are fermented in a box and spread in sun to be dried. In the next stage, the colour of dried beans turns to brown, and finally they are put in large sacks before they get transported by train or lorry to a factory.

When they are taken to the factory, the first step is roasting them at 350 Celcius degrees. After this, roasted beans are crushed in a grinder to remove their outer shells. At the end of this process, the inner parts of the beans are pressed by a roll-shaped machine. The final product after this step is liquid chocolate.
