Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The given line graph provides information about the number and gender of people who graduated from the university between the years 1992 and 2007. Overall, a brief examination of the graph reveals that in the given time period, except for minor fluctuations, the number of both graduated genders showed a rising trend, and in all years more women graduated from the university than men did.
It can be seen that in 1992, there were more than 170,000 university graduates, slightly less than 100,000 of whom were women. Until the year 1994, the number of both graduated sexes demostrated a slight yet steady increasing inclination. After that, there was a downward trend for both men and women, and this trend continued for 4 years.
As it is illustrated in the graph, the number of graduate people began to rise again in 1998. Except for a small fluctuation in the number of men in 2001, the upward trend continued for both men and women graduates to the end of the given time period. In terms of growing numbers, it is clearly observed that the change in women's number was more dramatic than men's. In 2006, totally more than 230,000 of both genders were able to graduate from the university, far more than half of whom were women.
