The pie graphs below show the results of a survey of children's activities.The first graph shows the cultural and leisure activities that boys participate in, whereas the second graph shows the activities in which girls participate.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the mail features, and make comparisons where relevant.



The given pie charts provide a summary of preferred pastime activites of children according to their gender. Overall, it can be clearly seen that the participated activities variety depends on gender, and listening to music is the only option on which both girls and boys spend equal amount of time.

A brief examination of the charts reveals that playing computer games takes the lion's share of the boys' activity chart, while the dancing activity is the most popular option among the girls. Playing basketball and soccer are in the second and third places amonf the pastime activities of the boys, and nearly half of the boys preferred one of these activities in total. This situation is different for girls. The percentage of the girls who choose to spend time on sports activites is slightly higher than a quarter, and the types of their favourite sports activities are gymnastic and netball.

It is apparent from the charts that reading is the second popular activity among the girls with 21%, while the boys seem to be highly uninterested in this type of activity. Even though the percentage of playing computer games among girls is not as high as that among boys, still16% of the all girls show interest to playing computer games.
