Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The bar chart gives the count of two-year foreigner students who registered in a Graphic Design course at a college in the south of England. The students are classified according to their gender in the graph, and while some of the students planned to study ‘Computer-aided Design’, others decided to study ‘Photography core option’ at a college.
As it can be seen from the chart, most of the enrolled students are from Sweden, and the Syrian students are the least in number compared to other students. The number of students who come from France, Germany and Spain are approximately equal. The gender distribution of students differs according to the countries, but it is quite obvious that the number of female students of all countries is more than the number of male students, excluding the Spanish students.
The distribution ratio of students’ study areas is quite different according to the countries and genders. The female students who come from France, Germany, Sweden and Spain enrolled in ‘Photography core option’, but none of the female Syrian students wished to study in this field. Clearly, it is observed that ‘Computer-aided Design’ was mostly preferred by male students from all countries except Syria from which the number of female and male students in this course is equal.
