The table shows the Proportions of Pupils Attending Four Secondary School Types Between 2000 and 2009.

The table graph shows the percentage of students attending four types of secondary school from 2000 to 2009. Overall, it is seen that the proportion of students attending community schools increased significantly in 9 years, whereas the proportion of students who attendant other three school types gradually declined.
Firstly, according to the graph the percentage of voluntary-controlled schools attending which was 52% in the beginning of the period dropped to 38% in 5 years and in the next 4 years, this percentage experienced a dramatic decrease to have the value 20%. Similarly, the proportion of grammar schools attending went down by half in the same period. The proportion of specialist school attending which had the percentage of 12% in the starting point of the period decreased to 10% in the year 2009, which can be considered just as a minor fall in nine years time.
While the other three types of school declined significantly, the percentage of communtiy schools had the highest increment with 46% which means a considerable jump in the number of students in these schools in nine years time.
