It has been claimed that workers over 50 are not responsive to rapidly changing ideas in the modern workplace and that for this reason younger workers are to be preferred.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

According to some of the claims put forward, over 50 years people can not keep pace with contemporary developments in  modern work life. However, younger people have more advantageous situation when getting hired than older people. I do not believe that this is the case.

Rapid technological advances bring  huge diversities for daily life, including work life. Workers who are used to conventional working styles may have difficulty adjusting with this condution. When workers over 50  encounter a new application at first, they may feel that they do not have adequate equipment and accordingly may feel uncomfortable due to this fact. Their reaction to whole situation may seem like an attitude that is closed to innovation from the outside.Yet, in my opinion, after a while these workers could adapt to newness and changes that are required in modern life. Older workers could contribute to their workplace from the various aspects. 

On the other hand, young employees who are familiar with tecnolocigal advances and use them effectivly, could run the business without any support. Younger workes do not need any training related to technolocigal affairs; therefore,  these workers do not mean for  company authorities extra expense. Because of being young and enthusiastic, their behaviour cause the company to improve rapidly. Despite all this, the thing to consider when employing young workers is that younger workers lack business experience. Therefore, two different workers with a difference in age and experience could cause the development of a completely different vision for the workplace. 

In conclusion, when we take a look at whole situation, working different age group's together  can be turned into a quite  advantageous. Because, younger and older workers could complete with each other in a wonderful way. Younger employee put up to work whit their techonlogical skills. From the other point of view, older workers have manifold experince about business life. Consequently, I believe that colleagues from different age groups could achieve various work together.
