Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The table depicts four selected secondary school options for children from 2000 to 2009. Overall, it is seen that ‘community schools’ which is one of the school types, kept rising in the period of 9 years, whilst the other three school types followed a steady decreasing trend during this period.
As it can be seen from the table, the preference of the specialist schools by children despite a slight drop in its rates has almost the same proportion in all the given years. The rates of grammar schools experienced a dramatic decline during the time and ended up the period with half of its initial value at 12%.
One of the other sections that is voluntary-controlled school type showed a significant declining inclination by completing the given time with less than half of its proportion in the year 2000. However, community schools presented an opposite direction by growing up sharply. This school type started the period from 12% and finished it with almost 60%.
