Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

My lifestyle is easier and more comfortable than the one my grandparents experienced when they were young. Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice.

While some people are of the idea that the lifestyle of today's youngsters is easier than that of their ancestors, some others disagree with this opinion. I strongly agree with the idea that my earlier years were easier and cozier than the years my elders experienced when they were young. I would like to support this claim with two main reasons in this essay.

First of all, in terms of technology, today's world is more advanced than the world in the past. Previously, communications with others were only through one or two ways like postal service or telegraph. They were the most primitive and the slowest way to communicate with others. Now, we can keep in touch with everyone in a matter of seconds through the help of the internet or smart devices. Not only communication but also our lifestyles have changed a lot by the use of the gadgets. To be simple, the coffee vending machine is a smooth example for me. If my grandparents wanted a drink of coffee, they had to use a lot of tools to make it. But for our generation, a cup of coffee simply costs some cents.

Secondly, the population has outstandingly sprouted up throughout the last decade, and as a result consumption and production have increased. My grandparents could not reach nutritional food.They only had a few kinds of foods in their town or village. Now, we can produce many kinds of foods that can feed whole population. Nevertheless, some elder individuals think that in their time, foods were more natural and nutritious than foods today. I do not feel the same. For instance, my older members of family had only some snacks for whole their days. But now, we can access a lot of kinds of snacks which include much healthier ingredients.

To sum up, considering both ideas, we can come to the conclusionthough some people may believe that lifestyle of past times was preferable and healthier, some others hold the opinion that technology has made our lifestyle easier than it was in the past, which has resulted in the fact that our habits have changed and also our consumption and production have increased.
