The chart below shows the results of a survey of people who visited four types of tourist attraction in Britain in 1999

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.


Writing task 1 


The pie chart illlustrates the visits to four different types of touristic places in Britain in 1999. The table graph represents the percantage of tourist attraction in theme parks. Overall, it is seen that theme parks have the highest rates of visits and Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the theme parks is the most preferred place for the tourists. The minimum visiting rate belongs to Wildlife Parks and Zoos

This pie chart shows that theme parks have the highest rates with 38% among the given tourist attractions. The propotion of visits to Museums and Galleries is very close to that to Theme Parks with 37%. While the percentage of visits to Historic & Monuments comes in the third place with 16%, surprisingly, wildlife parks and Zoos have the lowest part with 9% in this chart. 

The table graph rates are mostly collected in Black Pleasure Beach  are with 47% rate. The following rates are Altan Towers with %17 , Pleasured, Southport with %16 and there is an equality in the rates of visits to Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland, Winsdor with 10%  rates.
