The chart below shows the changes that took place in three different areas of crime in Panama City from 2010 to 2019.

The line chart illustrates the rates of crime in Panama City from the years 2010 to 2019. Overall, it can be observed that the number of burglary was higher than the numbers of car theft and robbery in 2010.

In detail, it is noticed that burglary was the most committed crime in 2011, but the number of burglary went down dramaticaly from 2011 to 2015. In this year, after a sharp increased until 2016, it finished the period with approximatetly no change.

On the other hand, robbery was the least registered crime type during the given nine years period. It could be seen that the number of robbery despite some minor fluctuations remaind almost in the same level in this period.

As for the number of car theft, a decrease is noticed between the years 2012 and 2013, yet, apart from the year 2017 to 2018, the rate of this crime type followed a slight and steady increasing trend from 2013 to 2019.
