There are a lot of technological developments which change our living environment. Yet, without any doubt, none of them is as beneficial as the information technologies. Despite this fact, some people are pessimistic about the bad effects of these technologies which maily are related to antisocial behaviour of the users and information corruption. In spite of these harmful impacts which are partly correct, I do not agree with that statement. In my opinion, information technology (IT) is more beneficial than its hazards and this is not a contemporary situation.

Firstly, because of the information technology, we can access the information easily and cheaply. This condition affects our education system. This is so beneficial for the education system because thanks to the IT each person’s educating cost can considerably decrease. Furthermore, people who wish to get education on a specific topic can get the chance to have a lot of options for individual learning method such as online education and open-source data. For example, before I went to the university, I was able to learn a lot of programmes which were already used in our department.

Secondly, with the development of information technology, our communicating preferences gain a lot of varieties. Because of the internet, we can be online almost from wherever we want. This communicational breakthrough makes vital changes in our social attitudes. Each person has a contact with their friends or family members. And can share a lot of things concerning their life. Besides, this strong communication fashion can have serious influences on our professional life. Because of this feature, team fellows can always be in contact with one another. And this naturally decreases the reaction time and increases the efficiency. Especially, in pandemic era, almost all companies use this beneficial technology.

In conclusion, there are many beneficial features of the information technology like providing easy information access and the facility of being in contact with others from anywhere at any time. Due to these reasons, I firmly support the idea that informational technology is highly fruitful and effective and I assume that it will be more helpful for the generations in the future.
