Some educationalists think that international exchange visits benefits teenagers at the school.

To what extent do advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

Along with the developing society, some researchers demand younger generations to expand their educational horizons and skills through exchange visits. I strongly believe that educational exchanges have certain advantages for students and for their schools. This essay will examine the veracity of the phenomenon of international exchange visits and my point of view.

To begin with, social development has brought several imperatives to our lives. One of them is studying in a foreign country. In other words, adolescents who live this experience, will find pleasure to discover a new culture, language and a different lifestyle, which will broaden their minds forever. For example, many schools start to become international, especially in the EU countries. Some have a specific opportunity such as the Erasmus student exchange program, which allows many student to improve their academic abilities. Through the exchange program, students develop higher capabilies than those who do not participate the program by enriching their cultural backgrounds. Besides, when pupils return to their countries, they can share their life experiences and educational knowledge in their school. Thereby, this improvement help students and schools to be part of the community.

Furthermore, thanks to exchange visits, students mold a good character and acquire self-confidence in life. This type of life-changing experience forces them to do daily routines without the supports of their parents. They can easily handle bad situations without asking for any help. For instance, the international student committee research in 2018 shows that students, who choose to study abroad, become more successful in their life compared to to their peers. According to the committee, the underlying reason is that exchanged visits increase teenagers' self-reliance and survival skills quickly. Also, the committee said that these students have acquired a multi-national character. Thusly, foreign countries affect students' behavior in a good way and aguments young ones life quality.

To conclude, abroad visits are more beneficial than their disadvantages by the way of enabling students to understand and mingle with the other societies and also making them be a holder of good personalities. From my perspective, students, who have chance to go abroad for education, can extend their perspective and gain multi-cultural personalies.
