Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

It is better to use printed materials such as books and articles to do research than it is to use the Internet.”

Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

It is critically fundamental to reach the best forms of information all around the world. In my view, it is far better to use online resources than printed materials. The following essay intends to explore the reasons to support this opinion.

Mainly, to use online resources are highly important in terms of saving paper. In today's world, wasting resources is a serious issue and to save paper is one of the most effective solutions to solve this problem. To give an example for this situation, we all have unused books and articles in our bookshelves. We have never read them and maybe most of these books will not be ever read. This event can be seen innocuous but it is requisite to think that what can happen if we do not put away those books. It is sharp to see that in this way our forests can be saved. It can be hard to recognize at first sight but if we try hard enough to expand our window, we may see the big picture and come to the conclusion that many a little makes a mickle. As a result of saving paper, we can easily prevent wasting resources.

Secondly, using online books and articles provide us with their ease of use. Almost in every part of our lives, we are significantly related with these kinds of resources and it is certainly functional to use them online. My own experience would be beneficial to explain why online sources are more convenient. While I was coming back to home from school last semester, I could not find a seat on the subway. My bag was extremely heavy due to my books and the other school materials in it and I was feeling fatigue. While this event was ongoing, it was impossible to read a novel on the subway. Then, I met my classmate in the same subway while she was reading her e-book. At that moment, I asked myself why I do not use online materials like her. As a consequence, we realize that online resources are highly handy to use.

In a nutshell, I think that to achieve the best shape of knowledge is one of our rights and I strongly believe that it is better to use online sources than printed ones because of the matter of saving paper and their ease of use. Maybe one day printed books and articles will just be antiques and e-books and the other online tools will be indispensible part of our lives.
