The graph below shows the differences in wheat exports over three different areas between 1985 and 1990.

The line graph demonstrates three regions in terms of exports of wheat from 1985 to 1990. As it can be clearly seen from the graph, three regions showed different trends (figure) all over the period. While the wheat export in Canada and European countries witnessed some fluctuations, the export in Australia dropped slightly between 1985 and 1990.

As the graph reveals, Australia’s wheat export started at 15 millions tons in 1985, but the following year it saw a small increase to almost 16 million tons. Then, it declined steadily until it closed at just over 10 million tons in 1990. Regarding Canada’s exports, they sent at just under 20 millions tons of wheat in 1985. It experienced a decrease, approximately to 17 million in 1986, but then their exports witnessed significant rise to 25 million tons in 1988. After the figure plummed to under 15 million in 1989, it rose rapidly to approximately 19 million in 1990.

The wheat exports from European Community increased over a period of 5 years. In 1985, almost 17 million tons were shipped, but this number dropped to nearly 14 million in 1986. Then, it increased slightly to 15 million tons in 1987 and in 19 stood the same  before experiencing steady growth to about 19 million and just over 20 million tons in 1989 and 1990, respectively.
