The bar chart demosrates the download rate per week of ActiveX, Java and Net computer packages program over a period of five weeks. Overall ıt can clearly be seen that in this graph ActiveX was the most prefered computer package of the internet users, while Net was the least popular among the given three packages.
To begin, ActiveX and Java which were downloaded by the internet users showed similar patterns in that both presented a gradual increasing trend in the following weeks. The number of people purchasing ActiveX was higher than that of the other two packgage computer programs from 1 week to 5 week. Downloads of ActiveX stood about 75.000, but those of Java were nearly 45.000 in week 1. Purchases of ActiveX kept increasing from week 1 to week 2; however; it saw a slight decrease in week 4 and after this time it kept increasing to reach to almost 125.000 number of purchases in week 5. The number of using Java went on inceasing to touch its highest point at 85.000 number in week 5.
The Net was the least bought program among the other computer packages. In week 1, it was slightly under 40.000; yet, it fell aproximately to 25.000 over the next two weeks. It then increased sharply over the following two weeks to reach its highest points at nearly 50.000 number, which was less than the number purchased ActiveX program.
