What are the most important things a teacher should do?

Teachers have many tasks to do in the classroom. A teacher needs to have three most important features. First of all, teachers should establish effective communication with students in order to set them at ease. Another one is teachers should choose the best active learning method for students. Finally, teachers should serve as a model while they do the teaching job.

Firstly, it is always very important for the teacher to teach without boring the students. Teachers should be fun and energetic. Most students are more comfortable while sharing something with their humorous and enthusiastic teachers rather than doing so with the grumpy and ever-serious ones. Students want both to learn and to get pleasure when they attend their classes. Some students can feel embarrassed and nervous, while others can be relaxed in the class. Teacher should get tied up with each student separately. Teachers should be active and creative and beyond the bounds of their limits. Teachers may make a point of smiling each time when they converse with their students and crack a joke or two and so on. This helps to alleviate any tension or fear that the students may be feeling when approaching their teacher for help.

Secondly, learning method is another factor a successful teacher should know about. A teacher should know how important it is to be abreast with the latest news, educational advancements, technology and so on. Teachers should always use effectual, modern and informative learning methods and learn everything about their field and they should share them with their students. It is very important for teachers to help the students learn in the best possible way because of the fact that the students want to understand the material in the class. Teachers should provide relevant study materials, which may be in the form of e-books, online resources, past resources, videos and so on, and anything that may be useful for their studies.

Finally, teachers should serve as a model for their students. Students watch and observe all teacher behaviours. Therefore, if the teacher tries good and new things every once in a while, students will do the same. Actually, a teacher's success depends on the success of their students. Teachers always should have high expectations from their students. They should believe in their students' potentials to succeed and make sure they push them to their limits. Teachers, even when students fail, should motivate them to try again and to work harder. A teacher's success is mostly determined by the success of their students. Therefore, a teacher needs to set goals and objectives for their students and work with their students towards achieving these goals as a team.

In conclusion, teachers have to think about many issues when are teaching. They need to consider the three important issues that are effective communication, the best active learning method and being up to date in the contemporary issues. When they do so, all their students will be successful in achieving their goals, which will naturally result in the success of the whole society.
